Week 18, Day 1: 166 lbs... 29 lbs up!

Well, I've been 166 the last 3 days in a row (including today) so I think I'm going to go ahead and do my 30 lb measurements since I have the time today. =)

Should be interesting! I've felt a lot more in my booty lately so I'm interested to see if the measurements reflect that. =)

Plus, I'm pretty sure I'm going to jump more than a pound in the next few days.

I was 166 again today... that's the first I was 166 2 days in a row. I'm getting very close to that 30 lb mark! Almost time for new measurements. =) I feel a new softness around my entire body at this point.. It's really nice actually. Love how it feels. =)

Also, 166 this morning. =) So I'm still gaining. Gotta keep eating! It's been kinda hard lately.. don't know why? Could be the anti-biotics I'm on.. friggin bronchitus.

Week 17: When It Starts To Add Up

Not really making progress lately. *sighs* I just need to eat more, but I keep getting busy and forgetting. I was 164 still this morning. I'll fix this though, don't worry.

But I have been noticing things a lot more lately.. little changes.. like how the only pair of jeans that isn't super tight on me are the new ones I bought! And I put on an old pair of boy shorts I have and they were tight on my legs. THEY WERE ALWAYS LOOSE BEFORE. So I guess that proves my thighs and booty are in on this.

My girlfriend said my bra was tight this morning. And I've noticed my hands are fuller now. Which I actually really like! But it's getting harder and harder to take off my ring which used to be so loose it would almost fall off by itself. It's weird too how right when I gain new pounds I feel it in my neck. I really do, but then if I wait, the fat disperses through my body. I think its still going to my chest this time, and belly area.

And that was the other thing I noticed. I mean, looking the mirror this morning I was just like whoa.. I've definately gained a lot. I mean my belly sticks out for sure. There is no way people are not noticing that. And from the side sometimes I feel sad. I don't know. I kinda prided myself on being skinny and well, no one has complemented me on how thin I am in quite awhile... gee I wonder why that is.. maybe cuz I'm not thin anymore? lol

But I'm loving a lot about this. I like being softer. I like the experience. I like my face way better! I like my chest, legs and my belly could be a little smaller but that's okay. I dunno.. this whole thing is just so crazy.

Week 17, Day 1: Lets Get This Party Started

Okay, so I'm stalling out at 164 lbs lately and I pretty much know why. I budget my money for every 2 weeks and I ran out fast the first part of November. Sooo now I have moneys again and its time to load up on snacks!

I'm going to run to the store today and get some donuts, cookies, bread (to eat w/olive oil), CHEESECAKE, salad (again olive oil is high in calories!) and lots of candy (I can eat even when i'm totally full). So that combined with some pizza and indian food splurges should get me past 167 and I can do new measurements again. yay =)

My gain by percent growth

This is pretty interesting. =)



I'm still eating a lot and I was 165 this morning. Wow, 167 and it will be time for measurements again.. my 30 gain lb measurements! That's a lot.

Its funny cuz I met my sister for lunch yesterday. She's the same height as me (5'8") and she lost like 15 lbs for her wedding. Wellll, she's gaining it back now and I just to reassure her that she looks great, even better with the weight back but of course, I guess people expect you to say that. I asked her what she weighed though and she said 163 to 165 and she was stunned when I said "me too!" She's so used to me being the skinny one. She's been jealous of my skinniness our whole lives.. seriously. So she was like, "what???" and then she poked my arm and said she thought she noticed a little more than usual.. and then poked my belly and told me she felt pudge.. ha! omg

I felt kinda embarrassed but happy too. I told her I really like what I've gained so far and she told me interestingly enough that the weight she's gaining back is going in different places, this time more in her butt and thighs... she's still 5 lbs less than what she started at before she dieted for her wedding and she already grew out her new pants she bought after she lost the weight. ha poor girl, but I know the feeling. I can only fit comfortable in 1 pair of jeans and I just bought them!

so anyway... fun times =)

Week 16, Day 2: OFFICIALLY OVERWEIGHT

I ate as much as I could yesterday and I guess it paid off. I got a nice spike. I was 166 lbs this morning which brings me to a 29 lb gain! Yikes! Some of it won't stick I'm sure, but still, pretty cool. And this puts me at BMI 25.0 which means... I'M OFFICIALLY OVERWEIGHT! yikes!!!

I still dunno if I feel overweight though.. just like.. almost chubby.. i dunno.. still not there

This is my weight gain just from October 1st.. and my goal of 170 is at the top there.

Week 16, Day 1: Getting Chubbier

Yah, I'm definitely getting chubbier. I've been holding steady at 163 these past couple days so I should be exceeding my new highest weight ever (164 lbs) very soon!

I found a before pic of me from about two years ago when I was pretty skinny... 143 lbs and I have the same shirt, so I put it on for some after pictures to see if there's a difference from 20 more lbs.

To be fair, I think that angle makes me look pretty chubby in that 2nd pic! There are things I like and things I don't like about the new weight on me. I like how I'm softer for example, and I like my thighs better, and my chest better and my face better... but then there are things I don't like very much too.. like how most of my weight goes to my belly and not enough to my hips, and how there's so much in my neck. Yuck! And its harder to kneel down! I know that sounds weird. It's not "hard" for me to kneel but I can definitely feel the new weight getting in my way. I guess you notice when you've been a stick your whole life.

And then of course the societal stuff. I feel uglier sometimes.. not that I feel ugly, but I perceive that others don't think I'm as attractive anymore. Friends tell me I look "healthier" but I have this feeling that they are really saying more than that when I'm not around. I dunno. I've had them reminding me of how jealous they were about my skinniness for too long.

I think overall I'm really enjoying this though. I've never really planned on keeping all the weight I gain and I'm still planning on losing some when I'm done. So far I think I feel best right at 150 lbs. We'll see though. =)

Anyway, enough on that. It's past midnight. Good night!

Celebrity Weight Gain: Charlotte Church

You guys probably already know this, but Charlotte Church is a famous Welsh singer-songwriter, actress and television presenter. And she also put on some serious weight gain. I'm obviously fascinated by weight gain, and so celebrity weight gain is pretty fascinating to me, since pictures are actually available online. =)

It's definately featured in other blogs as an obviously negative thing, but of course I think its positive and awesome. Here are some progressive pics of her weight gain.

All my 25 lb measurements & my Thighs

Okay, so I'm ready to share my latest measurements. Here's what I gained from 157 lbs to 162 lbs from most to least

1.25" at Bustline
1.00" at Bellybutton
1.00" on Neck

.75" at Waistline
.75" at Chest (at armpits)

.50" at Hips
.50" on my Booty
.50" on my Thighs
.50" on my Arms
.50" just under my bustline


I haven't gotten a lot in my thighs yet, but I have gotten 2.25" overall which is an 11% growth.



I also did a couple comparisons but I'd say the differences are very subtle. Also, I'm kinda embarassed about my thighs soo I'm surprised I'm showing them at all!

The earlist pic I had was at 142 lbs, so it actually shows a 1.75" gain instead of the full 2.25"

Well, yesterday was my 100th day of gaining! Wow, has it been that much already? And unexpectedly a couple more pounds showed up. I'm 27 lbs up now.. wow

Area most gained #3 (from 20 to 25 lbs)

So this is from 157 lbs to 162 lbs still....

The area I gained the most was my bustline..w00t! (1.25")
The area I gained 2nd most was at my bellybutton (1.00")
and now TIED with at the bellybutton is the strange place that I always seem to gain a crazy amount at.. neck! (1.00") ew, I know.



It's strange because it's smaller around yet I still seem to get big gains there! Like you can measure this by percentage and it comes out much different.

Overall, I've gained 11% on my bustline
and 17% at my bellybutton
But I've gained 27% AT MY NECK and 18% on my arms

Belly Measurements (25 lb gain comparison)

So I've been averaging an inch on my belly every 5 lbs I gain and I've gained another inch sooo I guess that's how it goes for me. =)

Measurements at my bellybutton
137 lbs = 31.5"
142 lbs = 32.75"
147 lbs = 33.5"
152 lbs = 34.0"
157 lbs = 35.75"
162 lbs = 36.75"

TOTAL gained at bellybutton: 5.25"

average gained per 5 lbs: 1.05"

So here was my belly at 137 lbs, 31.5"

25 lb Measurements are in!

Well, I was 162 lbs yesterday and today sooo I did my measurements.

I'm going to sort of give the results in pieces... and they definately have a twist compared to past measurements. So weird how it where it goes changes as you gain more! I love it though. =) So here's the twist this time.

In my first 15 lbs of gaining I averaged a 1/2" gain on my bust every 5 lbs, but in the last 10 lbs I averaged 1.25" on my bust for every 5 lbs. Weird how its pioked up there isn't it? Soo at 15 lbs up I was only 1.25" bigger there and now I'm 3.75" bigger at my bustline. And this makes me happy because that's a place I'm seriously lacking. hee

3 Months of Gaining Completed! (so far)

Wow, so I've been gaining for 3 months now. November is month 4 and I'm still at it. =)

Aug 1st I was 137 lbs
Sept 1st I was 147 lbs
Oct 1st I was 155 lbs
Nov 1st I was 160 lbs

*Today* I am 162 lbs (25 lbs heavier.. yikes!)

So basically I've been gaining less every month so far which I'm glad about. I think a slow pace is a good idea. *nods*

In August I gained 10 lbs which was the most.
In September I gained 8 more lbs and in October I gained 5 lbs for a total of 23 lbs in three months. That's about 7.5 lbs a month. I think thats good.

If I keep up that pace I'll be 175 by the end of the year.. and I'm not even sure if I want to go that high yet! Although, I think I at least have to be chubby before I stop this. I can then lose some weight after if I'd like to. =)

Oh, and I'm feeling better now. This weekend was actually pretty fun. Hopefully i'll just be on the upswing now. I hate it when my emotions go crazy like that! Thanks for all the hugs you guys. xoxo

Week 13, Day 4: I am no match for insecurity

Hmm down to 160 this morning. =(

My emotional issues have been getting really intense again these past few days. Not sure why this happens to me, but it's happened my whole life. The only bad thing is that I tend to lose my apetite when I'm really upset sooo I'm going to have to try extra hard if I want to gain anything.

Anyway, I'm seeing my therapist on Tuesday and this is always temporary sooo I should be okay and back to my old self soon. But I could use some hugs in the meantime! I really really HATE feeling like this. =(
