Well my friend left for Cali yesterday. I've been trying to gain lately and just when it seemed like it just wasn't happening I hit 173 this morning.

I'm starting to think about what to do from here too. My girlfriend expressed that if it were up to her she wouldn't really want me to gain anymore and maybe even lose 10 lbs. Of course, she supports me no matter what, but I'd be silly to say that her opinion doesn't matter to me. So I don't know. I might stop and stay at this weight for a little, or gain just 10 more, but not go for 200 like I was considering, or I might even try losing it pretty soon. I'm just not sure. It makes me sad to think about stopping already, but we also can barely fit on the couch to snuggle now. Actually, last night was the first time that we couldn't really comfortably lay next to each other and watch House. Sooo that does kinda suck. I don't know.
On the other hand I really like some aspects of my gain... not my belly so much, but everything else practically. I dunno, I'm just going to think on it for a bit. I really didn't even intend to go over 155 when I first started this and I'm 173. That's a 36 lb gain. I mean, wow, I'm almost 180! That's pretty crazy. So stay tuned. I'm bound to decide sometime in the next few days, and I'll post measurements as long as I stick at 172 or higher.

Week 20, Day 5: 2nd Goal Reached!
Well, I've hit my second goal of being 170. Hard to believe I'm here! I guess this whole oil thing is working for gaining. I'm still anxious to see if my fat distribution is changing too. Guess we'll find out when I do my new measurements at 172. =)

Week 20, Day 3: Got a new pound =)
Met my goal yesterday and well, I was 169 this morning! That's pretty exciting. I didn't even really eat much before bed so that's a good sign. We'll see if it sticks to tomorrow.
I Feel Like I'm Gaining
I also checked some measurements yesterday because I could swear I felt some gaining even though my body wasn't reflecting it. Like seriously, my hands are chubbier. I am really noticing. And my arms too. Like when I bend my arm there's some fat coming out of the side and the crease looks much more defined and my butt is feeling a lot bigger too. Plus, my girlfriend said my booty looked bigger and she noticed love handles on me for the first time yesterday. Just all these signs!
Quick measurements show some growth from my new diet (so far)!
I figured, maybe the olive oil is doing what it's supposed to and turning into subcutaneous fat and going other places instead of my waist and belly? Well, even though the measurements I took are only ONE WEEK since last time. I showed that I LOST a 1/2" on my waist, gained 1/4" on my belly (I am noticing more softness on the sides), 1/2" on my booty, and 3/4" new on my thigh.. which on a thigh.. that's a lot! ESPECIALLY in a week. I don't know if my measurements are right on, but it certainly seems like this new diet is working. We won't know for sure until a lot more time passes though.
About Good/Soft Fat
But my sweetie and I were talking about monounsaturated fat and stuff and she made a good point. She understands "good fat" which is basically monounsaturated fat like olive oil to be fat that doesn't turn solid at room temperture, while "bad fat" like butter for exmpale and saturated fats are thicker and harder fats. And that makes sense cuz I was reading about how oils turn into the "softer fat" and that's why it ends up stored just under the skin and goes to hips, and butt, and arms and pretty much all over, while the other "hard fat" is the kind that stores itself among your organs, which increases risk for a lot of bad stuff.
Anyway, I'm excited. It seems to be working so far. I just drank the last of my peanut oil on my lunch, so I have to go buy some more after work today. hee =) Yes, I know how silly I am.

Week 19, Day 3: 168! thank you olive oil
Well, I've been doing really good with upping my monounsaturated fats and lowering my carbs. Some people have requested to know what I eat in a day so I'll do yesterday for ya. =)
Morning:
1 glazed donut
1 choc chip cookie
1 glass of soymilk
Lunch:
1 Salad w/mediterranean dressing (lots of olive oil)
1 peanut butter sandwich
1 tall glass of soymilk
2 servings of Italian bread dipped in olive oil (w/spices)
1 hot green tea (no sugar or cream)
Dinner:
1 spicy black bean burger w/cheese, mustard and jalepenos
1 glass of soymilk
2 servings of Italian bread dipped in olive oil (w/spices)
1/2 serving of skittles
**I also drank some straight peanut oil.. about 240 calories worth
I know, it doesn't seem like I ate that much. That's what I thought too. And I took a big nap in the middle of the day so I really only ate 2 meals. But I was a pound heavier this morning! My heaviest yet! I think its because the oil is sooo heavy in calories I actually ate more calories than usual, but it just doesn't seem like it.

Week 18, Day 5: new high weight- 167 lbs
Well, I'm officially 30 lbs heavier. Dang that took a long time! My body's been fighting me lately I swear. It's been really hard to gain or even eat a lot, but I'm not the type to give up so I'm still chuggin. =)
Reached a new high of 167 lbs. Just 3 lbs away from 170. whoa
That's also another month of gaining. I started August 1st. I guess that's 4 months so far, 30 lbs. That's a pretty good rate right? I don't want to go super fast or anything.

Week 16, Day 2: OFFICIALLY OVERWEIGHT
I ate as much as I could yesterday and I guess it paid off. I got a nice spike. I was 166 lbs this morning which brings me to a 29 lb gain! Yikes! Some of it won't stick I'm sure, but still, pretty cool. And this puts me at BMI 25.0 which means... I'M OFFICIALLY OVERWEIGHT! yikes!!!
I still dunno if I feel overweight though.. just like.. almost chubby.. i dunno.. still not there

Day 101! Still gaining...
Well, yesterday was my 100th day of gaining! Wow, has it been that much already? And unexpectedly a couple more pounds showed up. I'm 27 lbs up now.. wow

3 Months of Gaining Completed! (so far)
Wow, so I've been gaining for 3 months now. November is month 4 and I'm still at it. =)
Aug 1st I was 137 lbs
Sept 1st I was 147 lbs
Oct 1st I was 155 lbs
Nov 1st I was 160 lbs
*Today* I am 162 lbs (25 lbs heavier.. yikes!)
So basically I've been gaining less every month so far which I'm glad about. I think a slow pace is a good idea. *nods*
In August I gained 10 lbs which was the most.
In September I gained 8 more lbs and in October I gained 5 lbs for a total of 23 lbs in three months. That's about 7.5 lbs a month. I think thats good.
If I keep up that pace I'll be 175 by the end of the year.. and I'm not even sure if I want to go that high yet! Although, I think I at least have to be chubby before I stop this. I can then lose some weight after if I'd like to. =)
Oh, and I'm feeling better now. This weekend was actually pretty fun. Hopefully i'll just be on the upswing now. I hate it when my emotions go crazy like that! Thanks for all the hugs you guys. xoxo

Cuz its been a little awhile... =)

I can't wait to spend time with my sweetheart tonight! We both fell asleep wayyy too early yesterday.

I ate a lot yesterday and I guess it paid off because I was 163 lbs this morning! I don't know if that will all stick, but it's pretty encouraging. Also, I noticed that my jeans were really tight yesterday and I was starting to come out the sides of them. Wow, me... skinny girl.. coming out the sides of my pants... this is weird!
And my friends this weekend all said they notice my weight gain now and they say I look better.. that it looks good. They probably just say that to my face though cuz it seems like they are all obsessed with losing weight. My one friend Vanessa was like "Yah, everyone is talking about what a fatty you are now!" but she was joking, and said they said it looked good. I like how I look and feel though and that's what matters. =)

Cuzz I'm pretty into it I must admit... at least lately.
But ya know, she really was a sweetie about it. She's actually okay with all of it she just doesn't want me to hide things from her! Yah, that's totally understandable. I have the best girlfriend in the world I swear. <3 Oh, and today is our 11 month anniversary together! Can't believe its been almost a year already.. wow! And I suck at relationships, so believe me, this is an accomplishment!
So she has access to my blog now and who knows, maybe she'll even comment in here sometime? =) I love you sooooo much sweetie. xo

Week 13: Hit 160 today.. thank you cheesecake =)
I hit 160 this morning! Which I think is an accomplishment since I started at 137. 5 more lbs and I'll be officially overweight and past my girlfriends BMI! Wow.
I know its the cheesecake I bought that put me over the edge. I found this guy who makes cheesecakes out of his house in Slavic Village, Cleveland.. my fav neighborhood! So I went to his house and bought a half for $15. OMG SO GOOD... and my gf ate a lot of it too!

So I ate a piece before bed the last few nights and I'm up to 160 now. Hope it sticks.

History of My Weight Over 3 years
Notice a trend? haha

This is actually my average weight by month. I started keeping track in January 2006 sooo this is over almost 3 years. This graph is going to look pretty scary when I add October! I'll tell ya that! I'm definately going to have to rescale it cuz i'm already off the scale. =)
159 again this morning... 159.4 actually... yep, about to hit 160 =) and I ate A LOT yesterday sooo its going to happen.
My appetite has been insatiable lately. Its crazy. Like I ate a huge dinner yesterday and then like 2 hours later, I was hungry again! And this keeps happening over and over.. no doubt i'm going to gain some serious weight if I keep giving in like I've been!

And here is my gaining since August 1st when I started to now.. and the top is 170.. my current goal. =) I've slowed down which I think is a good thing.. but still making progress. =)

Ideas For Next Entries
I have ideas for my next entries too. I'm going to do one on my calories cuz I've been keeping track and I think I can figure out close to how many calories I need to maintain my weight. Also, pictures of Charlotte Church, because she had an awesome weight gain (and pregnancy) and I just think its really hottt and want to share.. ha.. also, hopefully a pic or two when I reach 160 which will be any second... and maybe an entry answering questions like.. what is it like to be gaining? Are people noticing? Hows my gf taking it? etc etc... cuz I get questions like that sometimes and its fun.
Sooo lots more to come. =)

The comments are starting.... My coworker who was there was like "no no she's skinny.. she needs to gain some weight.. get some curves.." haha I wonder if she'll change her tune after I get another 10 lbs?

Week 10, Day 6: 21 lbs up.. dang
So I woke up this morning and surprise, another pound. Sooo I'm up 21 lbs and going for 30! yikes!

I had to go to Target this weekend and buy some new clothes. I normally buy size 4 or 6 jeans but I had to go with 8! They are a little big on me but I'm pretty sure they won't be for long and even some of my size 6 jeans are feeling a bit tight.
Also got 2 cute shirts. I used to always wear medium and when I tried on clothes, I got mediums but wow, I've definately gotten bigger, because the mediums were definately too tight! I had to go with large, and that seems to fit just right. Wow, crazy what 20 lbs can do...

Week 10, Day 5: REACHED MY GOAL!
Wow, 157 this morning!! So I did it. I gained the 20 lbs I set out to gain and in just nine and a half weeks. =) And I'm now officially the most I have ever weighed. Yikes!
I'm going to kinda wait and see if it sticks though cuz sometimes the next day your like a pound less again and its like dammit! ha
But yah, I'm happy and yes, I'm going for 30 next.

Week 10, Day 4: The suspense!
156 two days in a row. I'm going to meet my goal any second. Have to admit I haven't been eating THAT much and i'm kinda wanting to eat a lot healthier for a little bit which cuts out some quick calorie options.. but whatever, I'm happy with the slow track. =) I mean, I'm still gaining. I got a "half share" of fresh produce from a local farmers market just outside my workplace yesterday. mmmmmm i'm excited to make healthy stuff from it. =) I got kale, and butternut squash, beets and fresh apples and lots more.. yum =) What a deal that place is.

Week 10, Day 1: "Are you Gaining or Something?"
Wow, I got my first comment on my weight gain. It was my real estate agent for work and he was like "So are you gaining weight or something?" and then he asked if it was intentional. Wasn't that a weird question? So I was honest, and said, "Yah, it is actually" and smiled. Heh, I have no idea how that come off, but then he apologized sorta saying "oh, I didn't mean anything bad by it or anything" and I shrugged.
Weird.
Anyway, I was 155 again this morning. I'm pretty okay with gaining slow at the moment so that's fine. And I have now completed 2 months of gaining! 10 lbs in August and 8 lbs in September which makes 18 lbs total. =)

I'm definately getting a bit thick i'd say. I swear my butt feels bigger today. I dunno.
