Looking Chubbier

Just another pic. I took a lot of them last night actually. =)

Week 9, Day 6: Its coming

Yah, sooo I've been 155 for like the last 5 days and pretty much when this happens, all it takes is a couple days of eating like crazy and I gain some new weight to stay, soooo I should be reaching my 20 lb goal very very soon. =)

I'm glad things are progressing slowly though, because even when I'm not gaining it seems like the weight still moves around and adjusts which is good. I even measured my neck the other day and I lost a little from it, sooo apparently that weight is going elsewhere which I like. =)

But anyway, 18 lbs and my belly has definately changed. I took this pic just last night.

Crazy huh?

My Gains Per Week

I thought this was pretty interesting.

What strikes me about this graph the most is how much control I have over my gaining. Notice how both weeks 5 and 8 have a loss of a pound. I looked back at what was going on during that time and both times it was on purpose. Week 5 was the week before my sisters wedding and I wanted to be kinda skinny in my dress, so I decided not to gain that week. And week 8 I was in Cali and pretty much decided not to overeat there either. Just maintain my weight for a little while.

It just amazes me how much I control this process. It just feels like that shouldn't be possible or something, and it makes me feel even more confident that I could lose the weight if I get to a point where that is what I want to do.

Other interesting things to note are that the most I've gained in a week was 5 lbs and that was week 2! That's a lot! I don't know how much of that stuck, but that's what the numbers show. Week 7 was a big one too, a 4 lb gain, that pretty much came from calorie counting, which I love to do. =)

I failed on my calorie intake yesterday. I only got to 2,100, but I think bc I ate 4,000 calories the day before I was a bit saturated!

I'm only 2 pounds away from my 20 lb gain goal though! yay! I was 155 again this morning which is an 18 lb gain so far. =) Won't be long!

Week 9, Day 2 again: Ummm

My ring is definitely tighter on my hand. It's getting hard to take it off and put it on and the weird thing is that when my sweetie bought me this ring, I was thinking about taking it back to get resized because it was TOO LOOSE.

Wow, crazy. If I gain 15 more lbs like I'm planning this is definitely going to get stuck on my finger!

Week 9, Day 2: Weight

Wow, so I ate 4,000 calories yesterday which is more than double what I need to maintain my body weight. lol! And already this morning I weighed in at 155. I'm going to try and do the same today and see if any of it sticks. =) Probably will.

Here's the graph. You can see it dips down when I went to California for a few days.

More Calories = Gain Weight

So in my nutrition book they said that *roughly* about 500 extra calories per day than you need will equal out to about a pound a week. So based on my weight, I need 1,900 calories daily to maintain my weight, but if I eat 2,400 calories a day, I will gain a pound a week.

So basically 500 calories extra is 1/7 of a pound per day. Soooo 1,750 calories extra per day would be 1/2 a pound per day. Wow, that sounds like a lot.. ha But this has got to be true, because when I ate in the 3,500-3,800 range for like 3 days, I definately got a gain from that.

So I dunno, I think i'm going to shoot for it 3 days in a row. Could be fun. =) I just need to get to 3,650 calories a day. That's going to be tough for me, but even if I get close I'll still gain. Yay, chubbiness here I come. =)

Plus, have I mentioned that the most I've ever weighed is 157??? I'm 152 right now so after 5 more pounds, I'll be exploring some new territory. =) how cool
